Preparing for Your Shoot

To ensure the home is presented at its absolute best, I kindly ask that the property be fully prepared prior to the scheduled appointment time. A clean, refined, and thoughtfully presented space allows me to capture imagery that feels bright, inviting, and market-ready.

Prior to your appointment, please ensure:

  • All interior lights are turned on

  • Burned-out bulbs are replaced if possible

  • Blinds and curtains are open to maximize natural light

  • Vehicles are removed from the driveway and front of the home

  • Kitchen and bathroom counters are cleared of unnecessary items

  • Beds are neatly made and linens are straightened

  • Personal items, toiletries, cords, pet bowls, and visible clutter are put away

  • Outdoor spaces such as patios, porches, and entryways are swept and tidied

  • Trash cans, hoses, and other distracting exterior items are removed from view

  • Pets are secured or temporarily removed from the property during the session

A note on presentation

Photography begins at the scheduled appointment time, so I recommend completing all cleaning, decluttering, and staging beforehand. Homes that are fully photo-ready allow me to focus on capturing the space beautifully and efficiently.

The result

A well-prepared home photographs with greater elegance, clarity, and impact — helping your listing stand out and make a memorable first impression.
