Preparing for Your Shoot
To ensure the home is presented at its absolute best, I kindly ask that the property be fully prepared prior to the scheduled appointment time. A clean, refined, and thoughtfully presented space allows me to capture imagery that feels bright, inviting, and market-ready.
Prior to your appointment, please ensure:
All interior lights are turned on
Burned-out bulbs are replaced if possible
Blinds and curtains are open to maximize natural light
Vehicles are removed from the driveway and front of the home
Kitchen and bathroom counters are cleared of unnecessary items
Beds are neatly made and linens are straightened
Personal items, toiletries, cords, pet bowls, and visible clutter are put away
Outdoor spaces such as patios, porches, and entryways are swept and tidied
Trash cans, hoses, and other distracting exterior items are removed from view
Pets are secured or temporarily removed from the property during the session
A note on presentation
Photography begins at the scheduled appointment time, so I recommend completing all cleaning, decluttering, and staging beforehand. Homes that are fully photo-ready allow me to focus on capturing the space beautifully and efficiently.
The result
A well-prepared home photographs with greater elegance, clarity, and impact — helping your listing stand out and make a memorable first impression.
